Odd. I am convinced we will be seeing opposition to the Latin Mass not just by some bishops and priests but fro some laypeople.
A good gauging would be the amount of intransigence and outward emotions shown against the Latin Mass. This could be an indicator of a coming split within the Church. And that may be a good thing.
The Masses said today in many places, have been so corrupted and improvised it's numbing. There is no set format, no discipline. And I have seen some while on vacation and other occasions. I always left with an emptiness of soul.
The Latin Mass will restore those things because there can be no "ad-libbing."
My personal feeling is that Jesus' return is not far off and when He returns He will be hearing the Latin Mass being said by His remnant Church.
