Do Catholics observe the Sabbath?
I realize that as Catholics we have an obligation to attend Mass on Sunday and to avoid servile work. However, should we really avoid eating out in restaurants, attending professional baseball games, etc.? My friend insists we are violating the Sabbath when we do the latter because it means other people have to work. I think her attitude is legalistic and extreme.
