Re: St. Faustina's Diary: A Discussion
Mommyof4 has listed some of the text above. I'll split it off into a new thread and that will begin the discussion.

Re: St. Faustina's Diary: A Discussion
I see now after looking over my book. The Diary is broke up into "notebooks" it might be helpful to know which notebook we will be in and page number.
Edit: I see that Mommy has posted text from different notebooks so I guess we are moving around. Duh, she did say themes. I will be doing most of my reading at night in bed no doubt, so I won't have all the different numbers with me. more thinking on this one.

Re: St. Faustina's Diary: A Discussion
I haven't been on line for some time and I just wondered where everyone was at in the book I been reading for about a week now . as i had a lesson that I had to finish first while I'm waiting for the new lesson to arrive I thought that I would start reading and then get on line to see where the discussion was....God BLess

I'm not sure where the discussion is, either. I'm reading the book in order, from start to finish, but the discussion seems to be pulling from random places in the book. Someone, please correct me if I'm mistaken.

Yes, I have been trying to concentrate on themes, rather than a strict linear discussion. There is a lot of repetition in the book. If everyone would like to switch to a chapter by chapter discussion, I am open to that, too.

Themes are fine with me. Just post the section we are reading, if that's OK. I like to read it online.

I've been trying to post the quotes at the beginning of the thread, so that if there is someone who does not have access to the book, they can participate also. Trouble is, the book numbers that I have do not always align with other people's books. I don't know why that is.

I'm on page 40 in the first notebook.Which really starts on page 39 . "Darkness and Temptations" . So far I have found that she has suffered greatly in her search for the Lord and saving souls. She talks about trying to read and by doing so very slowly but could not remember anything that she read. I can truly relate to that as I'm taking some catholic classes on line and at the begining of the last book,( lesson )I had a hard time staying focused . I finally asked Father to pray for me and I kept trying and I finally got through the lesson. Not sure of the grade yet. But I feel good about it.What do you think of this part of the notebook and can you relate to Saint Maria.....
