How to add a CAF graphic signature to your e-mails

CAF offers dynamic signature graphics. They update with live information throughout the day:

They can be used on web sites, blogs, social networks, and in your outbound e-mails.

The following procedure seems to work well in Microsoft Outlook 2002.

In Microsoft Outlook 2002, go to the menu bar and click:
Tools > Options
to bring up the Options dialog box.

Within the Options dialog box, click the Mail Format tab.

Look for the Signatures group and click the [Signatures] button.

Then click the [New...] button.

Enter a title (e.g., "CAF signature") and click the [Next >] button.

In the "Signature Text" edit field, you can add text and HTML formatting as desired.

For example, to use the new CAF dynamic signature graphic, copy and paste the following:

When you are done designing your signature, click the [Finish] button. This places you back in the Options dialog box. From there, you can select your new signature to be used for new e-mail messages and/or replies/forwards.

Click the [OK] button to dismiss the Options dialog and you are done.

I have tried everyway from Sunday to get my mail client (Outlook Express) to accept your CAF Signature Graphics so I can promote CAF in my E-mail. I tell Outlook Express where to find this signature and click of the file and think I am finished. When I try to add it to my e-mails, Outlook Express always tells me the this is not a text file and says it has been deleted. Well Duuu! This is my last resort. Hope you can help!

Hi Robin,

Thanks for inquiring about our dynamic banners.

To add a dynamic banner to your email signature in Outlook Express follow these steps:

Start with a new message in Outlook Express.
Design the text portion of your signature using the formatting tools (ex. Sincerely, Robin).
Select View | Source from the menu.
You may need to click on the Source tab at the bottom of the screen.
Highlight the code between <BODY> and </BODY>
Copy the code by selecting Edit | Copy from the menu.
Open Notepad and paste the code by selecting Edit | Paste from the menu.
Go to our Banners page and select the html code for the banner you want.
Copy the code.
At the end of your Notepad file type <DIV>
Paste the banner code.
Type </DIV>
Save the file as "signature.html" (remember which folder you're saving to).
In Outlook Express select Tools | Options from the menu.
Go to the Signatures tab and click New.
Make sure File is selected under Edit Signature.
Use the Browse button to open the "signature.html" file you just created.
Click OK.

How do I add a banner to my signature or my email signature? I wanted to do some free advertising for CAF, but I can't for the life of me figure it out.
