A good Catholic book on marriage?
My girlfriend and I recently met with our pastor to talk about more strongly discerning the vocation of marriage. We had a great conversation with him about it, and he had a lot of great advice in regards to our discernment, including that he felt that we should pick out a good, Catholic book on marriage and/or marriage preparation and study it together and discuss it. Could you suggest any possibilites? Especially something that, while deep and meaningful, may not require as much of a scholarly view?
We've been looking at potentially something by Bishop Sheen or Kimberly Hahn, because we know they meet our needs in terms of style (we're both finishing college so taking the free time to really study a scholarly book or encyclical is difficult) and the fact that we know they will be good, solid Catholic books without anything that conflicts with the teachings of the Church.
