Joni Eareckson Tada has been great. Her group was organized to help the handicapped.
Joni herself has been a quadroplegic for many years due to a diving accident. She has been speaking out on Terri's behalf for a very long time now.

Re: Protestant Who is In Terri Schiavo's Corner.
Joni Erickson Tada is an inspiration. Having come from the Protestant world, I am well aware of her ministries. She has the voice of an angel. Anyone who wants a beautiful CD with hymns or carols will be pleased with music. She paints (using a brush in her mouth) and speaks up on behalf of people with disabilities. Check out her website, not just the Terri Schiavo section but the rest of it.
Great stuff

Yes, she does wonderful art work, Lisa and she is an advocate for the disabled. I am happy she spoke up for Terri Schiavo. It's interesting to see how people view this.
It's saddening to hear people say,"Even a plant responds to stimuli." As if a disabled person with brain damage is like a plant.

Re: Protestant Who is In Terri Schiavo's Corner.
LIsa4Catholics, this is a very distressing case. This society is deciding who is worthy of living and who isn't. Months ago, there was an article online about how a new test can tell parents if their unborn child has down syndrome in the first trimester so it's "easier" for them to abort. Since when is Downs Syndrome a crime punishable by death??

It is horrible and quite scary.I am going to put a link up that has an article from the "expert witness doctor "the court appointed for Terri You will see what the expert thinks about humanity and the disabled.
