Default Is there a text copy available?

I would like to read the Holy Father's new encyclical, but I don't think I would be able to read it online, as it would be very stressful on my eyes. Is there a physical copy yet that we can buy?

Go to the Vatican website (link below) and print one off.

You may be able to copy it to a word processor and enlarge the type, if needed.

I tried doing that with another one of his encyclicals and it turned out to be like 90+ pages, costing me quite a bit of money and a left with a large stack of paper

I typed it out in 90% scale and it was forty five pages, less the footnotes was 38. Amazon has it in hardcover for $10.17. http://www.amazon.com/Charity-Truth-...7895298&sr=8-2

Sticky: Caritas in vertiate: The Encyclical Itself.

I'm still reading it.

I am not familiar with the "Stickies".

How does one access them and are there others available?

I went to the library and copied it and it is 50 pages long and costed me $12.50. But that's probably cheaper than an ink cartridge. And now I,ve heard it will cost me more for there is still a companion guide or something to go with it. But it's worth it. Who else is really worth reading?Really.

Yes. The USCCB has already published a hard copy of the document. It is available for the low, low price of $6.95.

Here it is on the USCCB website.

Here it is on Amazon.

It's the same price at both places, but the shipping might vary.

It is probably easiest to print out the encyclical in pdf form. I could not find the document in this form on the Vatican website, but the Catholic Church in England and Wales had a copy on their site here.

Windows computers usually have an option for conserving ink in the print function and the option to print 2 pages on 1. The latter option makes the type small. But it will be cheaper.

Ignatius Press always puts out really nice hardcover versions of the papal encyclicals for a little more than $10. Here's a link to their version of Caritas in Veritate on Amazon.com:
