Filipinos who aided Jews to be honored in Israel
MANILA — More than 1,000 Jews fleeing persecution in Nazi Germany found refuge in the faraway Philippines, thanks to the government's "open doors" policy that Israel plans to honor with a monument... "The warm hospitality of the Filipino people undoubtedly shed light to one of the darkest and most difficult periods in Jewish history"... ![]() The flag of the country flies in the the Holy Land. The country is privileged to be at the “Boulevard of the Righteous Among the Nations”. We have a prominent monument that says we showed mercy and compassion to the most hated people throughout History.

If you will distinguish Israel’s demographic by its ethnicity, you’ll get that most of its settlers are Israelite or Jewish by bloodline. Children of the Holocaust survivors who migrated back to their land after World War 2. The so called Israelis you like to tell apart are technically Arabs…who were absorbed when the Modern state of Israel was made. SOURCE Nevertheless all modern citizens of Israel are Israelis and majority of them are Israelite or Jews.
