tithing, annual diocesan appeal as half of a married couple
Hello.
My husband works, I stay at home. He is an atheist, I am a Catholic.
Somewhere, I don't remember, I read that I'm entitled to 50% of the income. If so, then is it proper for me to tithe using the half of his income?
Also, our annual diocesan appeal began yesterday, and I wonder if I should give according to half of the income amount.
What is the correct thing to do, that God would expect of my husband and I?
