BE NOT AFRAID!!!!

He will have a short but distinguished career as a Depends spokesman - or maybe he can switch to "Oops I crapped my pants."

Yes - that was in bad taste - but I know of no other way to get my point across - I turn 30 tomorrow!

I think he's supposed to be like a GK Chesterton but he is vastly inferior. Are there any true successors of his in common sense-rich social commentary out there in the mainstream media (not including EWTN)?

Andy Rooney--another aging commentator spewing obsolete opinions and all the while does not realize that he is obsolete. The old guard just doesn't get it. Reminds me of Daniel Shore on NPR radio ...drab, drab, drab. I don't waste my time with them.

Yep, as the expression goes...often in error, but never in doubt.

I am not one who should be casting stones, but I don't think anybody else should either.

Rooney has a soul, although he might deny it. I wonder if he ever explained his atheist position. How was he injured?

I haven't made a study of it, but I'm not surprised that an atheist can do no more than complain about things around him, as Rooney does. His point of view isn't particularly useful, in any social context that I am aware. He has been in denial for years of his own uselessness. I wonder why he hasn't committed suicide, given his outlook on things?

Amazing how so many are stuck in a time warp. Andy...the SIXTIES are OVER.
