Default Claims of bugs in the conclave

A guy on another board I frequent claims to have access to a pirate stream from inside the Sistine Chapel. My brain tells me he just stoopid, but my gut tells me this should be checked out. What say you, and do you have any ideas how this should be broached?

It is, sadly, quite possible that despite all attempts the Conclave could be bugged. There exist a few of "satan's minions" who would be delighted to use their brains for evil and would think bugging the Conclave quite a feat, a joke, a thumbing of their noses at the dumb ol' church. So. . .I'd get it checked out by whoever you would contact for any sort of breach of privacy via the Net, or any type of "illegal activity". . .because this WOULD be illegal.

If you're wrong, if he's pulled your chains, well and good. But if you're right. . .

If it's a web stream see if you can get the web site and see it for yourself. If he doesn't want to share the sources blow him off, he's full of it. If it looks like he does have a confirmable pirate stream, you should contact Vatican officials.

Well, I know there is streaming audio and streaming video--so I think a "pirate" stream would be one that is either illegally riding the back of another stream or one that is illegally fitted up where it shouldn't be.

If there were any truth to it, don't you think the MSM would have found it and would be having a field day with the information?

I have not heard anything about the]is on the MSM (of course, I only watch Fox....oops...They are not MSM according to the MSM). I have also check a couple of sites I know and there is absolutely no mention of a pirate stream or any mention of listening divices in the Sistine Chapel.

Thanx Ryan. Of course the guy won't give me the URL. He claims it will all be made public after the election. However, I did email the Swiss Guard. If the chalk me up as a looney, so be it. I'd rather be wrong and embarrassed, than right and silent.

Your welcome, Sue. My thought on this is that it is bunk. If he wanted to be so secretive, why tell anybody? Some people live in this fanatsy world where they are "in the know" of everything. But, better to be safe than sorry. I'm sure the S.G. deal with plenty of false claims, but if your intentions are honorable, I see no fault.

It wouldn't surprise me if spy agencies of many nations have some inside information that they are just not sharing. I don't think the media does, though, or any private individuals.

Exclamation Re: Claims of bugs in the conclave

Even if there is a bug in the chapel, what impact does it have? If the Cardinals are not aware of it and there then the vote outcome will remain the same.

Some people just have no self-esteem and need to "build" themselves a little pedistal to get attention.
