Question Question On Pope Benedict's Crozier

I Was Just Wondering Why Our New Pope Benedict Has Pope John Paul II's Papal Crozier?

Did Pope John Paul Leave It To Him Or Is This
Passed On From One Pope To The Next?

Thanks And God Bless!

Actually, all of the Papal croziers belong to the Vatican. The one that John Paul II used was designed for John 23. Benedict is probably using it to signify that he is continuing with JPII's minstry of bringing the Gospel to the World.
