CONSOLIDATED STICKY: Catholic Rock Music

I am in to heavy metal...

It is difficult to find a metal band that isn't downright offensive, let alone Christian. Most of them are not very good, either.

If anyone knows of a good Christian, or better yet specifically Catholic metal band, please let me know who they are. I would be eternally grateful.

My favorite group is Dream Theater. They are considered progressive metal and, while not specifically religious, they are more than just loud and fast. One of the band members is a practicing Catholic and two others are Christian. They are possibly the most talented musicians I have ever heard.
