Should a devout Catholic attorney handle divorces cases?
Please let me know if you think a devout Catholic attorney should have anything to do with handling divorce cases. What would The Church teach on this? Shouldn't all Catholics do whatever is necessary to save marriages, rather than be a party to them dissolving? On the other hand, The Church doesn't actually teach that the act of divorcing is the mortal sin. It's the remarriage isn't it? So, overall, what should a devout and practicing Catholic lawyer do? Thank you.
