Default Evaluate yourself

Does your response to the following questions support your answer to the poll question above?

How do you spend your time?
Do you know God’s Word so you know how to obey?
Can you honestly say that you are living in full obedience to the Lord? If not, why not?
Do you enjoy life?
To what are you looking for satisfaction?
What are you doing that has eternal benefits?

1. I spend my time in prayer in between meals and before bed.
2. Yes I do know Gods Word and I obey it.
3. Yes, I can, I pray for the welfare of the world and the people in it as well as myself.
4. I enjoy waking up every day so that I may enter into a quiet state of prayer for others, that they have good health, are kept safe from danger and have the ability to obtain work, find peace and harmony in their lives, and that they live long happy lives.
5. I look for satisfaction in what God leads me to do, which is to pray for the good of others and myself.
6. I pray that all my actions words and deeds obtain forgiveness of sins for others and myself. so that we may enjoy the fruits of our efforts here on earth in eternity with God.

I chose "love people" because that is probably my main focus of my own efforts. I believe that to be pleasing to God, so it's not mutually exclusive.

Spend time? -- I spend much time trying to discover and develop my own faith, and helping my wife through her "dark night" experiences of late.
Know God's Word? -- I'm not a scholar, but I do feed myself daily with scriptures, sometimes listening to it as audio file on the computer even as a background if I'm not directly listen to it.
Full obedience? -- No, I still have problems with sloth and motivation. I'm recovering from a long term illness but I get lazy. That's probably my biggest problem.
Enjoy life? -- Yes! More and more every day!
Satisfaction? -- In learning how to live each day with increase sense of peace and well being.
Eternal benefits? -- Learning not to judge, claiming the peace the Christ gave us, loving one another, doing spiritual works of mercy and occasionally helping with corporal acts.

The majority of my top mental effort for the day is best described as expended in working well. I devote this effort to God. It says in Col 3:
22 Slaves, obey your human masters in everything, not only when being watched, as currying favor, but in simplicity of heart, fearing the Lord. 23 Whatever you do, do from the heart, as for the Lord and not for others, 24 knowing that you will receive from the Lord the due payment of the inheritance; be slaves of the Lord Christ.

Truly, I don't have much brain power left over for other things. As I age, I operate on a brain power budget. I set aside specific other times to service (charity) or prayer or study of the faith, though. But that is physically less time than work. The rest of my time is spent partly stuporous. I do enjoy life when I'm not tired.

1) I do a lot of different things. I like to spend time learning about God, helping people, and doing 'normal' activities. (Eat, sleep, draw, do chores, etc...)

2) I know some of it. I am only on 1Kings in my daily bible study, I try to obey what I read.

3) No. I tend to lack the necessary humility to be completely submissive to His Will 24/7

4) Sometimes.

5) I don't know.

6) Trying to humble myself and love God through faith and loving my neighbor.

Well, at this point in my life, I am mostly trying to have fun. I am beginning to change that to be more towards pleasing God though.
