Thumbs up Re: Prayers for my broken family

Hi Beth-my thoughts and prayers are with you and your children, too. I can totally relate with you yet you will get through this storm. I have went through a painful divorce, too. No family, my own father turned against me, have three children with two living with me, my son who is 14 with aspergers lives with his father-unable to talk with him lately-yet stayed strong in my faith and have support from the base chaplain and my reserve unit, neighbors, and friends. The chaplain-who is also my confessor has supported me and my children. He even calls to check up on us-he has became my rock somehow through all this. I had hurdles since I was born with not talking until age 4 and having autistic tendencies, myself (that is why I think my dad turned against me in reference to my son with aspergers). I came to realize that none of this is my fault outside of genetics and that I must stay strong for my children's sake. Many children of divorced families somehow ends up doing well in life-you must walk in faith and believe that God will take care of you and your children-sure it is painful for both you and your children yet with extended families there for you or other support networks, you and your children will get through this storm-God will never abandon or forsake you-never. I am speaking from my own personal experience-everything will work out in the end for you and your children. You are definitely in my thoughts and prayers-things will work out for you all in God's time-may God bless you immensely and comfort you during your family's trials-sincerely, laura barlow

May the Lord heal all your family's wounds and bring your family closer together in love. May your love for each other (along with open, honest communication among yourselves) help you all to have peace and understanding. May our Mother Mary intercede constantly for you and your children and help you all to love God and each other more than ever. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners no and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Remember oh most gracious Virgin Mary that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence I fly unto thee oh Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To thee I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. Oh Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

Hail Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness, and our hope. To thee do we cry poor banished children of Eve. To thee do we send up our sighs mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then most gracious advocate thine eyes of mercy toward us and after this our exile show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Oh clement, oh loving, oh sweet Virgin Mary, pray for us oh holy Mother of God, that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. Amen.

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray and do thou oh Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, cast into Hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

O God of goodness and mercy,
to Thy fatherly guidance I commend their family,
their household and all their belongings.
They commit all to Thy love and keeping;
do Thou fill their house with Thy blessings
even as Thou didst fill the holy House of Nazareth with
Thy presence.
Keep far from them, above all else,
the blemish of sin,
and do Thou alone reign in their midst by Thy law,
by Thy most holy love
and by the exercise of every Christian virtue.
Let each one of them obey Thee,
love Thee and set himself to follow in his own life Thine
example,
that of Mary, Thy Mother
and their Mother most loving,
and that of Thy blameless guardian, Saint Joseph.

Protect them and their house from all evils and misfortunes,
but grant that they may be ever resigned to Thy divine will
even in the sorrows which it shall please Thee to send them.
Finally give unto all of them the grace to live in perfect
harmony
and in the fullness of love toward their neighbor.
Grant that every one of them may deserve by a holy life
the comfort of Thy holy Sacraments at the hour of death.
O Jesus, bless them and protect them.

O Mary, Mother of grace and of mercy,
defend them against the wicked spirit,
reconcile them with Thy Son,
commit them to His keeping,
that so they may be made worthy of His promises.

Saint Joseph, foster-father of our Savior,
guardian of His holy Mother,
head of the Holy Family,
intercede for them,
bless them and defend their home at all times.

Saint Michael,
defend them against all the evil cunning of hell.

Saint Gabriel,
make them to understand the holy will of God.

Saint Raphael,
preserve them from all sickness and from every danger to their
lives.

Their holy Guardian Angels,
keep their feet safely on the path of salvation both day and
night.

Their holy Patrons,
pray for them before the throne of God.

Yea, bless their house,
O God the Father,
who hast created them;
O God the Son,
who hast suffered for them upon the holy Cross,
and Thou, O Holy Spirit,
who hast sanctified them in holy Baptism.
May the one God in three Divine Persons preserve their
bodies,
purify their minds,
direct their hearts
and bring them all to everlasting life.

Glory be to the Father,
glory be to the Son,
glory be to the Holy Ghost!

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen.
