Ads
I for one understand why you've cut back the number of annual issues, and I'm grateful you haven't had to raise the price much over the years.
However, I miss the once a month issue! I, for one, would gladly accept the magazine with advertisements in it. I know you'd want to be careful who you let in (wouldn't want any scandalous organizations to advertise), but surely there are enough Catholic/Christian friendly groups that would love you reach your audience.
I have absolutely NO EXPERIENCE in this type of thing, so maybe it just isn't feasible. But, I bet if you polled your subscribers, we'd take an ad for the Coming Home Network's Deep in History conferences, Monkrock.com clothing, EWTN, Mystic Monk coffee, etc.

Hi,
Thanks so much for your ongoing support! As a matter of fact, we welcome advertising, and from time to time you'll see ads in This Rock. Unfortunately we just don't have the resources at present to support ongoing ad sales.
Interested advertisers can request a rate card by sending us a message at thisrock@catholic.com or by telephone at (619) 387-7200.
