Default Updated website for the Polish National Catholic Church

There has been a change in the PNCC website with a new selection for the (book)Store:

http://www.pncc.org/

If you look at the contents of the (book)Store, you will see how that Church presents itself to members and non-members and which issues concern it today.

Another source of information on the PNCC is a deacon's blog:

A minor quibble that should be noted is that this organization may have apostolic succession, but last I checked was in schism with Rome. i.e. catholic, but not exactly Catholic.

I agree, and it's not a minor quibble. The PNCC says that it is Catholic; the RCC says it is not. Some PNCC parishes now call themselves "National Catholic Church" (without the word Polish in their title). This creates a problem in some cities because there is a minor Old Catholic group already calling itself National Catholic Church. The PNCC objects but does not see the irony in claiming that it can call itself Catholic but another Church cannot call itself National Catholic. "What is good for the goose should be good for the gander".

Doesn't the RCC allow for members of the PNCC to receive Holy Communion at their churches and vice versa? I thought I heard that there is some kind of limited inter-communion between these Churches but I could be wrong.

You are correct. The issue is discussed on the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops website in answer to the question "Can Non-Catholic Christians be admitted to sacramental communion in the Roman Catholic Church?"
