For my daughter to get into Catholic school

I had my daugher right after Hurricane Katrina and since my family was displaced she was never baptized. I plan on getting her baptized and have found eligible godparents to do so. In the meantime I am trying to get her into Catholic school. However, no one in her family is an alumni since I am not originally from BR (I am from New Orleans). The admissions lady told me there will be 8 new spots open for kindergarten so I pray that she gets one of them.

I know this may sound minor in comparison with other posts but I feel strongly that in this environment she will not only get an education but will also learn a lot about the Catholic faith.

Please pray for my daughter that she gets into this school if it is His will.

Dear Father grant that this girl will be helped to get a good Catholic education, bless both her and her mother. In Christ's name.

Wanting a good Catholic education for your child is never a minor consideration. I have prayed that your daughter will be admitted to the school of your choice.

I remember praying so hard that my youngest got in the local Catholic school, I wasn't catholic at the time...anyway now all three of mine are in...that was four years ago, now I just pray that I can pay the tuition every year....

All that to say, you prayer is very valid, it is great to want your child in a catholic school, I will pray as well.

Heavenly Father:
- please grant that she get into a Catholic school
- may she major in Sainthood
- may there be a million openings!!!

Did you see on Fox news that Catholic schools outperform other schools, and with fewer resources?

Material resources, they mean!

Praying for you and your daughter. If it is God's will that she attend this school, then may God's will be done, with no obstacles to His will. May you confidently take it upon yourself to do a good job educating your daughter about God and about things of the faith, even if it is not God's will that she gets admitted to this school. May you enjoy educating your daughter and know that her first and most important educators are you and your husband. May God keep you and your family in His care, and guide you all to be the best Catholics ever. Amen.
