Fr. Viny,

I have always read that the sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is the one sin that cannot be forgiven. I certainly pray that that I would never do that.

So, if someone goes to confession and says that he blasphemed against the Holy Spirit, can he be forgiven or not? What happens in this circumstance?
