Where would I find an Eastern Catholic Parish?
I live in Central Illinois, so my only exposure to any Eastern Christianity has only been through the Internet. I love my dear Latin Rite, but after reading about how beautiful the Eastern Rites (especially the Byzantine Rite, not to exclude any other Rite, but it's what I hear of most in my "bubble") I would love to experience a Divine Liturgy in another Rite. How would I find a Catholic parish of another Rite that would be in close proximity to where I live? (I'm assuming most answers will be somewhere near Chicago )

Our Diocesan webpage has a link to an Eastern Church in the area. That may be an option for you. Heck, if you just search "Eastern Catholic Chicago" in google I would be shocked if you don't find something right away.
Cheers,

I'm in TN in the Diocese of Knoxville. I was using that as an example of how you might conduct your own search since that is how I was made aware of the Eastern Catholic church in our area. Other members have chimed in and give you some good tips so I think you will be fine.
Peace,

Eastern Catholic parishes are rare unless you're in Eastern Europe.
