Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, and sought thy intercession was left unaided.
Inspired with this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother, to thee I come, before thee I stand sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

Loving Father, I entrust the Phoenix to your care for gallbladder surgery; guide with wisdom and skill the minds and hands of the medical people who minister in your Name, and grant that every cause of illness be removed, that Phoenix may be restored to soundness of health and learn to live in more perfect harmony with you and with those around. Through Jesus Christ. Amen.

I will most certainly pray for you Diem but don't worry. As surgeries go, this is usually a relatively easy one. Trust in God and know you'll be watched over. God bless you!

Prayer before Surgery:

O Jesus Christ, Messiah and Lord,
grant me joyful acceptance of the surgery
which awaits me,
and let this be the relief and cure which I seek.
Make skilled the work of the surgeon
and that of his team
for it is unto their knowledge and skill
that I give myself for healing.
I pray You, O Lord,
that this procedure will be without complication,
and that my recovery will be speedy and complete.

Amen.

Lord, please heal Diem in accordance with your holy will. May your holy angels guide the hands of his surgeon and nurses; may he/she receive the best of medical care. Send peace and comfort to Diem in this time of suffering. Thank you, Lord, for hearing my prayer.
