Sum people might not be so quick to count you out ... or even to give you a standing 8-count ...

True enough... Actually we tend to pump each other up instead ... to try and releive the pressure...

Re: Pun Thread VII
If I had to pick, sight unseen, from 5 autos (A, B, C, D, or E); I'd alaways pick "E". Why? So I could Car-E on with the puns.

A good example of musical chairs...I mean Cars...if ever I heard it. A prime example of a nearly flawless musical scale that is not mathematically radical at all.
| Now, how's that for combining three pun themes into one posting? |

... But the cars don't all sound the same when they're exhausted .
*[Cars may be musical, but not always harmonic. I remember from my days working in a service station that one of the Big 3 manufacturers commonly put 2 horns in most of their vehicles. The notes of the tuned horns which came in pairs were predominantly G and G# ( G and G sharp) ... nothing like a little amplified dissonance to drown out the sentiment of " God bless you neighbor"... . ... I say not harmonic , but a significant percentage of engines employing a crankshaft also have a device referred to as a harmonic balancer ]
