hi everyone. What do you think?

I see evil but not the good.
I see the enemy but not my castle
If I am called to be an orator,
why have I not the confidence?
If a writer,
why not the patience?
If a leader,
why not the strength?
If called to be all three in the priestly service of thee,
why me,
LORD?
Why me?

What honor is mine,
What victory have I won?
Why do You choose me?
From every danger I flee.
What flock have I rescued?
What foe have I subdued?
Even if all I want is You.
Remember I am easily distracted, too.

I turn to You for inspiration
And that I find.
I seek Your courage,
And through some carnage I come fine.
I beg of you forgiveness,
And it is given;
not earned,
not by me.

Jesus Christ randsomed me.
Not once, not thrice
but five times and counting has He.
Honesty is not me
Nor is purity.
My God I ask You work through me.
All I ask is to be Yours
Taken in by You, for You.

All I ask, all I seek,
all I ask of the Lord Most High,
All I seek is to be Yours.

Amen.

I face a choice
A choice that all men face

Some say this choice has come
Some say this choice is yet to come

They are wrong
This choice is now

This choice is the choice
between white knight
and night time thief.

Between scoundrel
and gentleman.

Between protector
and assailant.

I must choose between scholar and ruffian

For to embrace one
I must condemn the other

For in choosing one
I must let the other perish

I choose the scholar
The white knight
The gentleman
The protector

I choose these because they
Are what I was,
What I am to be

Not what was thrown at me by insolents
Those who hid from reason in their wanton

Those who plague the earth
Like the locusts of Egypt.

Like Babylon in all her splendor
All who follow her path known by many names

All who follow the devil will get their reward
Their death and misery

I faced the choice
I survived

Ive created a social group, [i]The Catholic Guard[i]. It is organized kind of like the military, but it would mostly be on the "building block unit level" (groups of 8-12) Our mission statement (working draft) is:
