Default Unusual mourning

Dear Friends,
I am attending the wedding of my niece next month...I have not seen my family for some time because I am not a good flyer or traveler...I am going to support my niece and my brother, her father, who has suffered the suicide of a beloved girlfriend and the suicide of his oldest son..found him hanging in a closet in a hotel near his home...sweet, sweet boy...

I have been running around preparing my outfit and so forth...however, my niece is marrying a man who already has a son...I don't know the details of all of this but due to the fact that my mother mourned all her life for the breakup of her family when she was 12, I want to be able to help the little boy (son of her groom) any way I can...he is only 5...I hope my niece did not take his father from his mother...I don't know the details...I want the wedding to be blessed but of course I don't know the details...mainly I want to know how I can help the little boy...just speak and pray for him...I thought of bringing a gift but my niece's family is extremely wealthy and if my niece took his father away from his mother, this would only upset his mother (I feel) because it would look like now our family is trying to buy her son away...

Please advise any way I can help this little boy...my niece and her father have evidently been seeing each other for over a year but she just met his son this week...

Thank you and God bless all who mourn
