CA Book Club - How Do I Join?

After so many requests to form a book club, we went ahead and created a Book Club group.

To join the Catholic Answers Book Club, go to:
Profile > Group Memberships > CA Book Club > Join Group

This will help us get a sense of actual interest and allow us to simplify intra-group communications.

Once you are a member of the club, you can choose to make your membership in the Club known to others with a nifty Book Club Member title under your username.

To do this, go the Group Membership area of your Profile and look for the table "You may choose to be identified as a member of the following groups" and look for "Catholic Answers Book Club". Next select the control "Identify me as a member of this group" and lastly click the [Update Display Group] button. And that's it, you're done.

I joined the Book Club and later went back to add the "Book Club Member" tag & couldn't. I never saw the box titled "You may choose to be identified as a member of the following groups."

Help please!

Book Club join requests need to be processed before you are considered a club member. (This is just the way the "joinable groups" feature works. There doesn't appear to be any way to bypass this aspect.)

Once your application has been processed, you should be able to see the new option in your Group Memberships area.
