Maybe they are considered part of the one percent. Or maybe they're just collateral damage whose function is supposed to be to provide free stuff for the protesters.

Does anyone else see the irony in the OWS using a poster depicting the Tiananmen Square protests of 1989 (that was to establish a more free market)?



OWS wants a type of economy the Chinese were protesting against.

Yes, it is quite ironic. The protesters in Tianamen Square were protesting a Marxist overarching government and wanting more freedom, while the protesters of OWS are wanting a bigger more encompassing government and less free markets.

Perhaps we could strike a deal with China.

We will take in all of the dissidents they have that want freedom, and we can send them all we have of those that want a nanny state.

It's a win-win.
