I am a Lay Dominican who loves the Order, loves the traditions, loves to pray, study and discuss. I am searching for a deeper sharing of the faith than what my local chapter provides. This is not to say they are in any aspect wrong or unfaithful to the rule. I, personally, am looking for more study and community discussion.

Anyone interested in starting a thread to create and discuss a "syllabus" of study in apologetics, theology, church doctrine, etc?

Greetings everyone!

I came here because I love all things Dominican! There are no tertiary chapters in my area and I am unable to join the Third Order on account of this.

I have a few friends at the Dominican School of Pilosophy and Theology and I would just like more insight...I have also made some friends at the Dominican Sisters of Mission San Jose....they are awesome people to hang out with. thanks for the group= )

I am here because I absolutely love the Dominican Spirituality and am considering entering with a Dominican community, just not sure which one yet. I am doing on a retreat with the Dominican Sisters of Mary Mother of the Eucharist next month and I am also hoping to visit with the Dominican Nuns in Summit at some point during the summer. I love the Preaching of Truth in everything they do. I feel the world needs to hear the truth whether they like it or not.
