I hear stories of others who literally sit down and weep in front of Our Blessed Lord in the Tabernacle, or while receiving Holy Communion. It makes me wish I could be like that. Don't worry about the emotions. The meat of the matter is in the will.

St. John of the Cross said that the journey is like walking out into a dark night where the senses (emotions) are dry. However, the soul wills to trust and follow Him who is light.
