Is it me, but the groom looks a bit like Prince William, but the Bride is Barbie, Not Princess Katherine.

I wonder why a company as big as Mattel can't hire sculptors who can make the dolls' heads look like the subjects.

Sorta thought this might have been released last year. Doesn't appear to make marketing sense to me.

You under estimate the fanatic devotion of hard core Barbie fans. A few years back they released Barbie dols based on well known DC comics characters, some of these now trade hands 2 or 3 years later for ridiculously large sums of money. I predict something similar will happen with these dolls.

But still, they would have got loads of casual sales if the release was timed with the wedding itself.
