Default How do I control my temper with my toddler?

Please don't judge me. My daughter is four years old and there are many times in a day that I lose my cool with her. For example, whenever I go to the kichen to cook or whenever I am on the phone, she always disturbs me or wants me to play with her. She is an only child, so she has all my attention. How can I handle this in a proper way without screaming at her?

This is not an apologetics question. It is a question for a family counselor. You might try contacting the Pastoral Solutions Institute, a Catholic counseling apostolate. They can offer telephone counseling or a referral to a counselor in your area. If you need immediate assistance, you might try the National Parent Helpline and check to see if there is a Parents Anonymous group in your area. God bless.
