How do I control my temper with my toddler?

Please don't judge me. My daughter is four years old and there are many times in a day that I lose my cool with her. For example, whenever I go to the kichen to cook or whenever I am on the phone, she always disturbs me or wants me to play with her. She is an only child, so she has all my attention. How can I handle this in a proper way without screaming at her?
