Re: Please Pray for God to End my hard financial times

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My husband, almost 65, who suffers from clinical depression as well as anxiety, has been unemployed for over 2 years due to a dissolution of his division at work. He always held senior management positions--did not have a degree, was strictly self-made; a wonderful man in every way who has always tried so hard in this difficult world, and did everything for his family, never for himself. We now find ourselves almost financially ruined, with about 3 mos. left of finances before we have to foreclose on our home of 25 yrs. and potentially have to claim bankruptcy. We have a teenage daughter, as well, so our responsibilities go beyond just ourselves. We have had to go through all savings and retirement monies--and what we have now is due to the kindness of a very wealthy friend who gave us a sizeable check. Little did we think that would be all we had left. I am desperately asking for your prayers that the good Lord will present an employment opportunity for my wonderful husband--I believe in miracles; I have a strong, undying faith that tells me that the Lord will solve this with great love. I truly believe something wonderful will take place before we have to lose our home, which I can't even think about. Please pray for a miracle for our family. I say novenas to Our Lady of Perpetual Help every day, attend a weekly novena, say a daily rosary for this intention, attend daily Mass, and say a daily prayer to St. Cajetan. Please pray for us. Thank you.

Dear Saint Joseph, you were yourself once faced with the responsibility of providing the necessities of life for Jesus and Mary. Look down with fatherly compassion upon jaron's husband in his anxiety over his present inability to support his family. Please help him to find gainful employment very soon, so that this heavy burden of concern will be lifted from his heart and that he is soon able to provide for those whom God has entrusted to his care. Help him to guard against bitterness and discouragement, so that he may emerge from this trial spiritually enriched and with even greater blessings from God. Amen.

Remember, O most loving Virgin Mary,
that never was it known,
that anyone who fled to your protection,
implored your help, or sought your intercession,
was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence,
though burdened by my sins,
I fly to you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother.
To you I come, before you I stand,
sinful and sorrowful.
O Mother of the Word Incarnate,
despise not my petitions, but in your mercy,
hear and answer me.
Amen.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Lord, you have a plan for this husband and his family. You will only permit to happen what is best for their souls and spiritual lives. May this trial deepen their faith in you and strengthen them. You prune us only to make us more fruitful. Help this husband and his family to be surrendered and confident in you. Please meet their spiritual and temporal needs and never forsake them. May they know that no matter what happens to them your plan is a plan of love, mercy and salvation. Help them to trust in you, no matter how frightening and threatening things are for them. Please lead this husband to the job you want for him and help him to get hired. Thank you, Lord, for hearing my prayer.

Heavenly Father, we remember before you those who suffer
want and anxiety from lack of work. Guide the people of this
land so to use our public and private wealth that all may find
suitable and fulfilling employment, and receive just payment
for their labor; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Praying hard for your intentions. I'll remember your intentions later on at daily Mass. It's good you're praying to St. Cajetan patron of the unemployed.

Thank you all so much. Please continue to pray--there are 3 opportunities for which his resume has been submitted, so he is desperately hoping for at least one interview. God is so, so good. Please pray that we don't have to move and that we will start to see some income. St. Cajetan, Mother of Perpetual Help, St. Jude, please pray for him. There is nothing impossible with your intercession.
