I respectfully disagree. Please read the original OP. The word "day" is not even mentioned.
The question was about when does "fasting" end.

I decided to just ask this question on here instead of making a new thread.
Since today's Friday, is it ok if I eat a hamburger after 12 AM?

Hm..how about this:
a) Let us be true and give something up. Not for just a day, but for all 40 days
b) Let us stop arguing and do Lent (pray, penance and being obedient, not a little..but 100 %)

Technically, it would probably be okay...but I would feel terribly guilty.

Surely there are dispenstations made for health reasons, like diabetes and hypolycemia? My Dr recomended small but frequent meals every 2 hours.

Where it is harmful to one's health to fast, it is sinful to fast. In such circumstances, one practices penance or self sacrifice in other ways.
