Re: 8th grader with leukemia
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection,
implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins,
my Mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful.
O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions,
but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen. x5

Almighty God, we entrust all who are dear to us to thy
never-failing care and love, for this life and the life to come,
knowing that thou art doing for them better things than we
can desire or pray for; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Re: 8th grader with leukemia
Praying for Matt
Watch, O Lord, with those who wake, or watch, or weep tonight,
and give Your angels and saints charge over those who sleep.
Tend Your sick ones, O Lord Christ.
Rest Your weary ones.
Bless Your dying ones.
Soothe Your suffering ones.
Pity Your afflicted ones.
Shield Your joyous ones, and all for Your love's sake.
Amen.
In the name of the Father,
And of the Son,
And of the Holy Spirit
Amen.

Re: 8th grader with leukemia
I saw a Facebook post from Matt the other day. Things seem okay. At this point the treatments seem to be pretty much as difficult as you'd expect. He really misses seeing all of his friends everyday at school. Thank God, though, he appears to have a good attitude and knows how blessed he is to have all of his friends and family with him. He most definitely still needs our prayers. I humbly ask you all to join in/continue praying for Matt. I also thank you for any prayers you offer.
God bless.

Re: 8th grader with leukemia
@TS: Thank you for the update. Please keep us updated from time to time...
Prayer for the Sick through the Intercession of St. Lorenzo Ruiz and Companions
Beloved San Lorenzo Ruiz and martyr companions, to you do we come for help. Help us to have the same faith and love that you had for God. We call upon you today on behalf of our ailing beloved ones. By your prayers and intercession obtain for them, not only comfort and peace for their souls, but also vigor and strength for their bodies. We place our entire confidence in you because we know that God loves you and that you care for us. We earnestly pray that our sick ones, be purified and revitalized in every cell, tissue, nerve and organ, so that the bodily limbs may function effectively again. Through your powerful intercession help our sick to receive the grace of God's miraculous compassion, so that they will be completely whole again, and thereby be able to continue serving God faithfully in this life to the best of their strength and to attain the salvation to which you arrived. Amen.
