Accessory to sin?
I don't think this is sinful but just to be sure. Someone asked me to hand them a newspaper inside it contained crude images. By giving it to them was I in any way being an accessory helping them to sin. They knew what paper it was and I assume they new that it contained filth so I don't think there was any sin on my part however I its always good to seek a second Christian opinion.
With thanks

Almost all papers have non-christian values. Almost all TV shows have non-christian values. Internet 'most searcher word is "sex".
Your newspaper was worse than average? If it was good for you wasn't it good for that "someone"?
Just wondering...I have got no answers...

Re: Accessory to sin?
Hmm,
If you think it a sin, then its a sin and if you need to question is it a sin then perhaps to be safe you can confess it as a sin. Even if the priest does end up saying it isn't really a sin, his word for that will be better than any of ours. So just simply share it at confession and let the priest be the judge and that way you won't be wrong and you will be relieved of your guilt of whether it is a sin or not.
Go in peace Amen

Re: Accessory to sin?
For the sake of clarity, was this your copy of the newspaper that they asked you to pass to them, or did you simply pass it to them because you were closer to it than they were, so they asked you to pass them the newspaper, as one would pass salt or butter at the table?

One of my friends worked at a home for disabled people. One lady there liked to watch dirty movies quite often. Sometimes she would call my my friend and say, can you help me with this and that? He said; I will only enter your room when you turn the garbage off.
We are our brothers and sisters keepers.
Question for you - I assume you mean there was pornographic content in the paper you handed over - would you have handed it over if you know the pictures inside carried your mother, sister or your finacee?
I assume you wouldn't, so don't help anyone in their sin or you become culpable.
