I said COMPLETE Goospels.
The existence of BRICKS does not prove the existence of TEMPLES.

The complete Gospels. Just for your information did you know that between 93% and 97% of the New Testament can be reproduced from quotations made by the early church fathers. Between the texts that are available and quotations from early sources there is sufficient evidence that the text we have today is accurate.

93 and 97% huh. Care to explain your methodology for arriving at those numbers? Also, you would have to establish that the early church fathers and the gospels didn't share some common ancestor.

Just doing what I always do: playing the devil's advocate. It just happens that most of the time on this forum that puts me in a position of questioning the CC.

Good answer! (all of it) I'm just a new Catholic, Easter Vigil 2010, so I sometimes get stuck in the answers I know are there. Fortunately this is a Facebook conversation so time between answers for research is perfectly acceptable...

I know I'm probably butting my head against a wall here, but this is a good friend of mine and I know we won't damage our friendship since we both respect the others views without judgement. But maybe if I keep on answering his questions, he'll finally begin to sway a little. Could take years. I'm a patient man.
