I had a "first" today: I was slugged in the ribs by a drunk on the bus, while the driver was calling for the cops. He also laid his hands on the driver, and I don't mean in a blessing, before he got to me. Neither of us hurt.
But, I told the driver that it was better than the young woman who spent a mile threatening to kill me (in front of the driver), before he could stop safely and let her off. Must be the winter weather!
