The roads were bare today. The sun and the wind took away the salt, snow and water.
And I had to work this afternoon, even though it's Sunday.

My workplace is about a mile away. Rather than walking or taking the car I rode my bicycle.
It was -10C (about 12F) when I left. When I came home it had dropped to -15C (5F +/-) with a stiff breeze in my face.

Very refreshing!

Peggy,

A few new comers to the world of Ignore may require some guidelines.
Why not take a few hours to find a link to one of Aussie John's detailed explanations of the rules for ignoring this and that?

Good night dear.

Am I ignoring a request or a threat?

Well, I think I can do the rules and guidelines almost as well as Our Aussie John, so why bother him at this hour. If I miss something, I've got the rest of you as backups.

Poor Max! These budget cuts at CONTROL are just going too far! To make you bike in that horrid weather at the North Pole (you were at the North Pole, aren't you, Darling?)! Did you see Admiral Byrd?

I was going to make Admiral Byrd Penguin Pie, but didn't see any frozen penguin at the market. So, instead, we are having Flaming Flamenco Flamengo Fricassee tonight! The Quads caught one at the petting zoo, and by the time the kids had finished petting it, it was already plucked!

Hurry home, the fireplace is hot, and the Flaming Flamenco Flamengo Fricassee is ready to eat.

Love,
99

And the rest of you can just ignore This, pretty please, if you know what's good for you!

It's hard to ignore THIS if you put it in blue. Maybe like:
