Some Germans Going from Profession to Confession
While some men splash out on flashy sports cars as they reach middle age, a number of men in one southern German community are turning from profession to confession -- giving up careers, money and sex to become priests.

As bad as things are now, the grace of God is always stronger. Despite the dour predictions, He will always raise up workers to perpetuate His sacrifice.

Pope John Paul II was right in emphasizing the intercessory power of Our Lady, who loves us enough to warn us, and instruct us on the ways in which we might still avert those dire predictions of which you speak.
We have been told by Our Lady Herself on numerous occasions that we must repent, convert, and pray the rosary. The fruits of such actions can be found in a simple story such as this, as well as in events of global significance.
It is nice to read something that represents hope, for a change. May God's mercy continue to sustain his people.
