I'm almost positive that you can't get married in the Church anyway if you're together. Thus a civil marriage is the lesser of the 2 evils. Seriously get married now or the next big debate will be... when's a good time to start a family?

You want to put yourself in a position to do the right thing in the eyes of God, for the love/fear of God. Then everything else will fall into place, just as God intended.
Your advice does not apply. If a couple is "together" it does not mean they cannot get married. It DOES mean that they are to agree to be apart, and that they both need additional instruction about their faith, if they both truly want to do things the Lord's way.

The Lord may not even want them to get together in the Sacrament.....that would depend on a lot of things.

There is no such thing as the "lesser of two evils". Either one can get us damned to hell. Do we trust the Lord and rely on His grace or not? We have to ask ourselves that question. Our Lord Jesus Christ faced up to a horrific suffering and death for us. Can we die to ourselves for Him? Yes, with His grace!

Things fall into place when we do it God's way, not rationalizing and doing it our way.

May the Lord help us all to see it His Way!
