What does the Church teach about Mary's Perpetual Virginity?
I have heard the topic of Mary's perpetual virginity discussed in great detail on the Q&A program.
As a Catholic, I agree 100% on this teaching. However, I am curious about what it would imply if, as many argue, Mary was not a virgin after Christ's birth. How would this impact what the Church teaches and what kind of repercussions would this have in God's divine plan?
