Where are the likes of Goliath now?

Where now are the sons of the giants like Goliath who used to scare the Israelis because of their size? Thanks in advance.

It's not likely that Goliath was from a separate race, but that he was a run of the mill giant. We still have those today.

Possible. While the Masoretic text today states that Goliath is "six cubits and a span" (around nine feet), the DSS manuscripts of Samuel, the Septuagint, and Josephus give a more mundane height of "four cubits and a span" (approximately six feet seven; cf. NAB "six and a half feet tall").

Even if it was approximately 9', males approaching that height have been known in modern times. Robert Wadlow for instance (8' 11").
