re: getting notifications to specific thread, nothing there
i am on a thread about a church bombing in Nigeria. i have received 2 notifications over the past 2 days, but when i click on the link the last post is the one i wrote. the new posts aren't there.

A mod likely removed them for some reason after they were posted.

Another possibility is that the person who posted the comment may have changed their mind and deleted it. I've done that a few times.
