re: log out problems
my account will not stay logged in. everytime a new thread pops up i have to log in username and password. if i type in catholic answers forum, i have to do the same things again. very annoying. this used to happen, but not like it is now. maybe once a week. now it is every session of each day.

Are you checking the remember me box? If you don't, it will log you out after a time. It is annoying especially if you are posting an answer. If you check the remember me box when you sign in it will keep you logged into CA.

it doesn't have the remember me box. normally i do check that. i just had a notification of a post to a thread, but when i went there, the latest post wasn't there. so i don't know what it is going on, but if it keeps up, i won't be continuing here at CAF because it is too frustrating. luckily, i have my password memorized so i don't have to keep asking them to send me a new password or that would take even longer.

okay, i checked the remember me box and it still logged out.

That really sounds more like a browser/cookies issue. Have you changed your browser? Security settings? Anti-virus/anti-malware program?

no, i don't know how to change browser. since last night i have had trouble with internet explorer and aol not responding and having to recover webpages. hard to get into aol.
my computer just did a health scan last night and since then, running really slow. thanks for the tips though. so far it has remained logged in since i relogged in earlier today.
i am sick with a bad case of flu so my patience level is low. lol
