My mother gave me my grandmothers rosary.. she passed away when I was 9.I have no history of it, but I assume it was given to her as a child. I have searched to no avail, but cannot find anything out about the rosary and the unique symbols that are on it. I am curious about the angels with wings in all four corners of the cross. The only marking on it is "Italy" I know there are 1000's of them, but was hoping someone may be able to help me here.

The angels just look like artwork to me. As I'm sure you're aware, rosaries can be extremely ornate.
You might want to take it to an antiques dealer specializing in religious art for more information, and perhaps an appraisal. It looks like it might be expensive, and you might want to list it on your homeowner's insurance.
