how do i get an avatar

i was just wondering how you get an avatar here

i can't find anything about it, if you can tell more or post a link to a thread that tells me it would be appreciated!

Use the Profile menu which is in the menu bar near the top of every page here.

Profile > Edit Profile > Edit Avatar

Then pick which avatar you want to use. As a Junior Member, you don't yet qualify for a custom avatar, so you will have to pick among the stock avatars hosted by CAF. But once you reach Regular Member (you only need a 122 more posts) you will be able to upload an avatar of your choosing.

After you select your avatar, click on the Save button at the bottom of the page. And you're done!

I've been on this website for awhile and am still a "New Member", and was wondering myself how long it takes to be a "Regular Member". If the person above only needs "122 more" posts, how many does it take altogether? I go through periods where I don't get on the computer at all for weeks, then I go in waves of posting a lot on here, so maybe it's because I'm not a daily visitor?
