180 Movie on Abortion Reaches 1 Million Views
The movie 180, the Ray Comfort-produced documentary that shows how asking questions about Nazi, Germany can spark a change of heart in people’s minds on the issue of abortion, has reached 1 million viewers.

Although I like that specific message, Ray Comfort is no friend of Catholicism.

Re: 180 Movie on Abortion Reaches 1 Million Views
looks like a good movie so far I was only able to see the first 10 15 min of it, will watch the rest later
but I skimmed through the rest, and it seems like he tries to evangelize to people too.
That took it to far. IMO
its a big deal if you can covert people from pro choice to pro life, let God do the rest of the work after that. If they are willing to convert to pro life their heart is open for Christ when he gives them the grace of Faith

Re: 180 Movie on Abortion Reaches 1 Million Views
Almost everyone would drive the bulldozer. For the vast majority of the population there is almost nothing that they are willing to die for.
I forget some of the details, but I've heard of an experiment done where there is a man in a room who is supposed to be doing a task and a person on the outside who can see in has a knob. If they turn the knob it administers an electric shock to the person and they are supposed to make them do things or get shocked. There is a person standing there telling them when to turn the knob and after the person failed to do as instructed a certain number of times the person in authority would instruct them to turn the knob up another notch, that notch being marked as "FATAL". Supposedly almost everyone turned the knob to fatal and threw the switch.
Now it is probably true that if you were to interview these people none of them would have said that they would do that.

Re: 180 Movie on Abortion Reaches 1 Million Views
I watched the movie today and thought it was well done, however the salvation question is not dealt with in a Catholic vein at all. I don’t discount the movie though. I think it has great value in today’s society. Why didn’t we Catholics think of it first?

Everytime the "what is the 6th commandment" question was asked, I was hoping someone would answer, "Thou shalt not commit adultery"
