The 5th Catholic New Media Conference will be held in Dallas/Fort Worth, at the Arlington Convention Center. The dates for the conference are August 29-31, 2012.

The Catholic New Media Conference (CNMC) will be held in association with the Catholic Marketing Network Trade Show and the annual conference of the Catholic Writers Guild.

The Catholic New Media Conference is a festive, educational, and international conference focused on evangelization and building community through the use of new media. This event is designed to connect, guide and inform Catholic communicators as a response to the Church’s call for new evangelization.

All interested in Catholic communication, new media, and social media are invited, including young adults (18+), ministry leaders, and priests and religious, to whom Pope Benedict appealed in his 2010 World Communications Day message, to “become an ever more pastoral presence on the web.”

Wednesday CNMC Professional Day: Main Track
Our Main Track is designed as a set of informational presentations about the use of media for marketing your group or company message. Our speakers will present on broad informational topics as an introduction to the use of podcasting as a marketing tool, how to increase traffic to your website and increase audience engagement, as well as showing real world examples of the use of film for publicizing your message.

Wednesday CNMC Professional Day: Tech Track
The Technical Track will speak to the growing community of programmers and web developers working for Catholic companies and organizations. These sessions are designed to help bring this community together and sharing their ideas and opportunities for working together.

Thursday CNMC Celebration & Networking Day
Today is a day of celebrating all things “Catholic New Media.” Our engaging speakers will share with you the latest ideas of the New Evangelization, and give you ample time to meet and network with your colleagues, fans and associates.

Friday CNMC International Catholic Bloggers’ Summit
Following on the success of the 2011 Vatican Bloggers Meeting, this day will focus on the growing and important world of Catholic blogging. Catholic communicators in all forms of media will benefit from the experience and guidance of these talented writers. If you are a Catholic blogger and are interested in presenting as part of this day’s schedule, please see our Call for Presentations for more information.
