Why can't we go to Mass on Monday instead of Sunday?
To Whom It May Concern:
As a mother of two teenage daughters I need to have correct answers to their questions about our faith. Today, my daughter asked me why she can't go to Mass on Monday instead of Sunday. Of course I told her no that won't work, but I feel that my answer should have the history and logic behind it to help her understand why this "rule" exists. Can you point me to a reliable clearly written resource for her age? She is 14 and my younger daughter is 11. Thank you.
