Default Scaling down recipes...

Help me here!! I don't usually scale down recipes. I just make what I do, and eat the extras myself ( )....however, I don't want to waste ingredients now.

Say my recipe called for 190g of sugar and 4g of salt. To make a smaller batch, I'd half the 190g to 95g of sugar and half the 4g to 2g of salt; and so on. The recipe would work the same, right?

I dunno - sometimes smaller batches require different proportions, and sometimes they don't.

Could you google for a smaller portion recipe?
